no more Praise in the Night

Steve Solomon has called it a day, or a night rather, on his long running "Praise in the Night" radio show. Here's the announcement:
Diane and I are so appreciative for all of our friends and supporters of this ministry for your faithfulness through all of these years. We have seen many miracles of salvation, healing, deliverance take place to the glory of God.

Riverwalk Fellowship has been underwriting the expenses of PITN for many years and now with a new radio contract that has been presented to us with an amount that could not be agreed to, we have prayed and decided that this was the time to end this ministry.

We will now be able to focus more of our energy on the ministry of Riverwalk and we are excited about this new chapter in our lives and ministry.

We are grateful to the Lord Jesus Who gave us this tremendous opportunity and privilege to minister the Gospel, every night, all night beginning in 1991.

We will have expanded podcasts and teachings available on our Riverwalk Website in the near future.

God bless,

Steve and Diane Solomon

But if you're like me, you still need to get FILLED occasionally, so here ya go:

this clip perfectly sums up Stever for posterity. I envision him doing his late night call-in show via some kinda remote hookup from his McMansion abode in a faceless Dallas suburb, in his houserobe and slippers, kicked back on an overstuffed leather sofa, smug and self-important, condescending to his listeners, and even talking with a mouthful of crackers, as he is in this particular clip, not even halfway paying attention to his sad, pathetic, halfwit callers. Then getting blindsided by good old Bro Russell.
