Former president of the National Association of Evangelicals, mega church pastor, and Bush advisor
Ted Haggard was in the DFW area this past Sunday at Don George's Calvary Church in Irving. The Dallas Morning News account of it is
here. Ted gave a talk on sin and offered apologies for his past transgressions, but kept it pretty sanitized and did not offer up any juicy new details on his history of clandestine gay sex, male prostitutes and meth use.
The purpose for the visit seems to have been the "undisclosed honorarium" he received and also to promote his wife Gayle's upcoming book, "Why I Stayed," to be released in January.
